A quick update to outline what’s happening with End Space right now. We have released End Space on Gear VR, PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift, HTC Vive, Windows Mixed Reality, and most recently Oculus Go. That’s a lot of platforms to maintain, and with every release the older platforms got left behind with updates and bug fixes. With only 2 of us working on End Space it’s a lot of work to test each fix only to see what we broke on the other platforms.
Right now we are working on bringing End Space up to date across all platforms, so every version of the game offers the same great experience. Over the next couple of weeks we are going to roll out updates to supported platforms. Patch notes will be available soon and we look forward to rolling out the Collective Update.
With the recent release of Oculus Go, we spent a lot of time getting fixes and updates so End Space ran smoothly on the new headset. We didn’t have time to bring the new levels that released with PlayStation over to Go. Excited to announce those levels have been heavily optimized and are able to run on Go and Gear VR as part of the next update.
After the Collective Update is released we can focus again on content creation and improving the game. If you have feedback or ideas of what you want to see implemented in the game, be sure to contact us. We setup a new Twitter account for End Space, and there is now a open Discord channel as well.
See you in space,
